Biography

Emily is UK Director of Corporate ESG at global engineering and advisory professional services company WSP. An experienced marketing communications specialist and corporate leader, she built, and now runs, a team that works across the business – and with partner organisations – to enable, co-ordinate and amplify Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activity.

It’s this activity, mapped against the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, which will help WSP achieve the ambitious targets. Through Emily’s leadership they will generate £120 million in additional social value by 2024, become carbon neutral in our own operations by 2025, halve the carbon footprint of our designs and advice by 2030 and be net zero in our full value chain by 2040.

Outside work, she volunteers with New College Worcester helping visually impaired 7-18 year olds learn and thrive, and regularly volunteers for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
